Common style is a "cultural cafe", where foreigners can exchange information with Japanese about what interests them.
In the daytime we operate this space as a culture school for teaching and learning various kinds of things using different languages.
In the nighttime, we operate this space as a cafe bar where English is available.
“common style”のコンセプトは、外国の人たちが関心を持っていることについて日本の人たちと情報を交換する“cultural cafe”です。昼には、お互いの言葉でいろいろなことを教え学びあう文化教室として夜には、英語で会話できるカフェバーとして、運営していきます。

The next meeting of this group will be on Sun. December 14th at 7:30pm.
Reading Words is a writing group formed some time ago to provide a platform for aspiring writers to air their work.
It has an International membership, and all are welcome, we need listeners as well as writer/readers.
This month’s challenge is
‘’There’s a knock on the door……’’
If this challenge interests you, then start writing! We want to hear from you.
You can write in any language, poetry or prose, translations can be made. Fear not.
Please do not feel obliged to rise to the challenge, it is offered for those who like some guidance, if you prefer you may ‘do your own thing.’

諸般の事情により、"common style"は現在の場所での営業を２００７年４月２９日（日）で終了することとなりました。
５月以降は場所を "common cafe"に移し、平日夜を中心に週に１〜２日開店しております。
